The home

Pastures, a hot tub, and hang gliders overhead.

Redbud sits between pastures at the base of Lookout Mountain, with goats and chickens browsing nearby. Look up and you’ll see the hang gliding launch and gliders drifting toward the clouds.

The kitchen is well stocked, with an induction cooktop and a toaster oven that fits a whole chicken (there’s no full oven). The loft has a queen memory foam mattress, reached by a short, steep staircase instead of a ladder.

The big deck looks at the mountain, and the fire pit is steps away. There’s no dining table inside, so eat on TV trays by the smart TV, or out on the deck when it’s nice.

Good to know

Questions guests ask.

Anything else, just ask Owen.

How do you get to the bed?

The loft stairs are steep, and like most tiny homes you crawl into bed. It’s easier than Magnolia’s spiral ladder.

Is it good for kids?

Not for children under 8, because of the high loft and staircase.

What are the house rules?

Up to two guests. No pets (the farm animals next door), no smoking and no parties. The smart TV has no cable, so bring your streaming logins.

Can we book both tiny homes?

Yes. Magnolia shares the acre, and both are set up for privacy. Friends can gather together, then have their own space.

When are check-in and check-out?

Check in from 4 PM. Check out by 10 AM.
